CH.1 Nationalism and Unification.
Nationalism-devotion to the intrest of one's own conutry.
Unification-the joining of diffrent territories to form one nation.
Through this time period of 1814-1913 the empires in eastern europe where growing through out this time. During this growth many nations where makeing new rules to start a better empire. Also a lot of people had not accepted this concept , many people revloted and try to get out of the new rules.One important event that happened was that in russia women marched in st. petersburg to show there revolt.
CH.2 Industral Revolution.
The industral revolution was a time period of which many countries started to develope industrys like power plants. One of the best inventions was the steam engine. the steam engine was invented y a man named james watt in 1769 due to the staem engine new factories built ships which made a better way of transporting goods.This time period didnt help the growth of the economy though. Many kids were also working really crazy hours and this is how child labor laws were formed.
CH.3 Imperialism and world war 1.
Imperialism- a national policy of taking control of another nation or territory.
The time period of imperialism was a time of growth for many natoins to expand and to try and get as much power as they could.
World War one Era.
World war was not a very great thing that happened to the world. The war had started out small but soon became a big war with 16 countries in this at once.Through out this war new wepons were created and the war which was aready ugly became worse.This war was a land mark for the U.S.. The U.S. never wanted to get into another war like this and started to foucs on its economy.

CH.4 World war 2.
The war to end all wars was world war one but a new war had broken out. september 1 1939 a new war called world war 2 had started. One main reason of the world war 2 was because of hittler and the things he was doing.The name of what he did was called the halocost. He was killing jewish people because he belived them to be bad.Gremany has start to kick some marjor butt in this war and was starting to envade other countires. U.S. was not brought into this war until pearl harbor was bombed by japan after that we joined in the war and bruoght back peace.
CH.5 Post world war.
Due to world war 2 being over many places started to rebuild and get there lifes back on track. The territoires wee soon back to what they should have been. From this peace was astablished for a little while.
Cold war- war of words between two countires. Cold war had turned out to be better then actual war. some may say that its not but what would you rather have people getting killed or just words being thrown around.
